We are bringing lifestyle businesses and critical services to Mojave by teaching local residents how to start their own business (coffee shop, restaurant, fitness center, day care, cleaning service, plumber, etc.) and actively recruiting service providers to locate here (medical clinic, dentist, legal services, CPA, etc.).

The Mojave Foundation will offer entrepreneurship classes, and provide 1-on-1 mentorship, for free, to local residents interested in starting their own business. Recruiting critical services to Mojave. Mojave desperately needs specialized professional services such as a 24-hour medical clinic, a dentist, legal services, and a certified public accountant. Residents currently have to drive at least 30 miles to access these providers, putting many services out of reach for many of our low-income or elderly residents. The Mojave Foundation will conduct a national search to encourage providers to expand into Mojave, and work with local authorities to streamline the permitting process. We will compile an abundance of market research to educate potential service providers, and make that research available to the public.
What types of amenities do you want to see in Mojave? What businesses do you want to shop at, that you are currently having to drive to get to? What kinds of services or skilled trades do you use that you can only find from out of town? Answer our short survey below.
