First Workday in the Community Space Garden Scheduled

Hello Gardeners! Our first garden work day has been scheduled:

When: Saturday September 27, 2014 8am-12pm. You do not have to work the whole time, feel free to show up late or leave early

Where: Legacy Park (Airport Blvd. and Sabovich St. at the Rotary Rocket)

Goals: Weed and level the garden space. If there is time, we will begin staking out garden plots.

What To Bring: Water, gloves, sunscreen, hat, closed toe shoes. If you have a shovel, wheelbarrow, or hoe/metal rake that you could bring, please let me know!

Spay and Neuter Clinic

In association with Kern County Animal Control Services and the office of District 2 Supervisor, Zach Schrivner, Southern Kern Vet Hospital is offering a voucher to spay and neuter your pets.  You must bring an ID (and proof of address if address is different than what is on the ID) and pick up the voucher in person at the times listed below, at the Rosamond Fire Station.  Limit 4 vouchers per household.

There is no income qualifications for this program and no cost for the vouchers.
